Calendar

About the calendar

This minimalist online calendar gives you a crisp monthly grid and a compact yearly overview in one place. It’s mobile-ready, lightning fast, and runs entirely in your browser—no accounts, no sync, just a clean way to browse dates.

How the calendar works

A simple toolbar sits above the grid: use the and buttons to move through time, hit Today to jump back to the current date, and switch between Month and Year using the two-segment toggle. The label updates instantly so you always know where you are.

The Month view renders a classic seven-column layout (Monday to Sunday). Leading and trailing days from adjacent months appear muted for context, while the current day is clearly highlighted for quick recognition. The Year view shows 12 mini calendars in a tidy 3×4 layout; click any month tile to drill into that month instantly.

Month view at a glance

  • Mon–Sun header: Weeks run Monday → Sunday for predictable alignment.
  • Consistent rows: Leading/ending days are shown in a lighter style to preserve full weeks.
  • Today highlight: The current date is emphasized so you can find “now” in seconds.
  • Fast to scan: Equal column widths and steady row heights improve readability at a glance.

Need to focus?

Did you know that the same reliable Calendar is also available in a minimalist version designed for deep focus and maximum productivity?

Try it now

Year view in one screen

Scan the whole year at once. Each mini calendar includes a tiny weekday header (Mon–Sun) and a compact day grid with the same visual language as the month view. The current date carries over its highlight, and a single click on any tile opens that month. It’s perfect for planning, scanning holidays, or picking a date several months away.

Navigation & controls

  • Previous / Next: Step by month in Month view, by year in Year view.
  • Today: Instantly returns to the current month or the current year.
  • View toggle: Switch between Month and Year without losing your place.
  • Click-through from Year: Select a mini calendar to open that exact month.

Design and readability

The interface focuses on legibility: a clean type scale, subtle borders, and careful contrast differentiate regular days, padded days from neighboring months, and today. The result is a calendar that stays quiet in the background yet answers “what day is that?” immediately.
